As a Senior ETRM - Endur Software Developer, you will lead the design, development, and documentation of enterprise software solutions. You will define technology strategy and set the technical direction for software projects while serving as a mentor to others on the team. Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Provides functional and technical architecture guidance across all aspects of the ETRM system
  • Plays a meaningful role in providing both functional and technical design and configuration with any new implementation or improvements; will also provide leadership and mentorship for other developers with daily support issues and building standard processes
  • Is responsible for technical specifications and analysis and designing solutions that fix or enhance IT applications in the energy trading landscape
  • Ensures the smooth technical operation of the ETRM and other trading systems under your team's scope of support
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: High school diploma/GED, Vocational/Technical/ Business School, and a minimum of ten (10) years of software development experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related field
Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational/communication skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas to all levels of leadership and technical staff; must be comfortable communicating with senior leaders
  • Must have strong hands-on technical skills, including development
  • Experience leading application support and maintenance production support activities
  • Experience in working with sophisticated integrated Enterprise systems, solving systems and integration related issues and facilitating through issue resolution
  • Knowledge of incident management, problem management, ability to manage change and service requests and the resulting documentation
  • Understands sophisticated applications functionality, triage issues; identifies and documents resulting resolutions and displays proficient problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in application development technologies such as .NET. Practical experiences to advanced Oracle database skills (includes design and scripting of tables, stored procedures, etc.)
  • Experience working with QA and application deployment teams to move applications into production
  • Ability to partner with leadership team, peers, vendors, and subordinates to develop and improve reporting capabilities to meet customer needs
  • Preferred: Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
