The Security Analyst III is responsible for evaluating, testing, coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining information security policies, processes, procedures and systems. This role is responsible for the management of key security, identity and risk-related processes, tools and systems. The ability to lead efforts to improve processes, systems and business behavior are keys to success.

Day in the Life:

As an Identity Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing identity and access management solutions using the SailPoint IdentityNow platform. You will work closely across teams to ensure the successful integration and deployment of identity and access management solutions that meet our clients' business needs. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and passion for delivering high-quality solutions will be essential in this role.

The role isn't confined to identity management. You will also use tools like PowerShell, PowerBI, Power Apps, and Python to create innovative solutions on the Microsoft O365 platform. This work goes beyond merely solving today's problems; it's a platform to shape the solutions of tomorrow.

  • Develops business logic to generate alarms, alerts, metrics and reports to identify potential security risks or concerns
  • Assists other analysts to resolve problems
  • Leads and supports software, services, functions and solutions owned by the information security team
  • Evaluates security risks associated with new or existing technology solutions, policies, processes, standards and controls; educates the business on risks and provides mentorship on how to reduce, mitigate or avoid
  • Develops and implements presentations on security risks to business partners
  • Participates in the investigation and resolution of sophisticated security events/incidents and provides suggestions on ways to prevent similar situations
  • Generates and reviews metrics related to information security goals and project reporting
  • Leads smaller-scale process improvement efforts
  • Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Collaborates with business analysts, solution architects, and project managers to gather and understand business requirements for identity and access management solutions
  • Designs and develops custom connectors, workflows, rules, and other components within the SailPoint IdentityNow platform
  • Integrates SailPoint IdentityNow with various enterprise systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and identity synchronization
  • Performs system configuration, customization, and optimization to meet client-specific requirements
  • Resolves technical issues related to the SailPoint IdentityNow platform and its integrations
  • Participates in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of developed solutions
  • Stays up to date with industry standard methodologies, trends, and new technologies in identity and access management
  • Collaborates with the support and maintenance teams to provide timely resolution of production issues
  • Documents technical designs, processes, and solutions for capturing knowledge for future reference
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: High school diploma or GED; a minimum of four (4) years' experience in IT, information security, or related
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of six (6) years of experience in IT, information security; relevant information security related certifications
Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving ability
  • Preferred: Certifications in SailPoint IdentityNow or related certifications (e.g., Certified IdentityNow Implementation Engineer)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to work standard office hours (Monday through Friday 8-5pm)
  • Ability to provide occasional after-hours support for change control and support
  • Less than 10% travel
