As an Accountant II, you will interpret and compile financial information for management decision-making under a moderate level of guidance and direction. While you build your knowledge of the Company and the process and procedures, you will serve as a resource for internal and external customers. You will use your experience, innovation and judgement to handle a variety of assignments!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Collaborates cross functionally with company partners to assure accurate financial reporting information
  • Prepares, maintains and develops schedules, reports and analyses for internal/external customers
  • Compiles, organizes and analyzes reports/information associated with monthly management reporting and monthly variance explanations
  • Maintains accounting records and associated back-up documentation
  • Reconciles and analyzes ledger accounts and proposes adjusting entries, as needed
  • Provides information and explanations for audit requests from internal/external auditors
  • Communicates and coordinates with company partners
  • Works with significant amounts of detailed data
  • Supports the regulated financial reporting function with the monthly close and the quarterly and year-end reporting processes
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major with a strong accounting focus and minimum two (2) years' experience with preference in energy industry accounting
  • Preferred: CPA and minimum three (3) years' experience in accounting in the oil and gas industry
Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:
  • Available to work some overtime as the need arises during critical quarterly closings/reporting
Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
