Wal-Mart is seeking a Senior Manager I, Data Engineering in Bentonville, AR. Job duties incl but not limited to extracting data from identified databases; creating data pipelines & transforming data to structure that is relevant to problem by selecting appropriate techniques. Bachelor's or equiv in CS, IT, Eng'g or rel. fld + 4 yrs of exp in SW eng'g or rel. exp OR Master's or equiv in CS, IT, Eng'g or rel. fld + 2 yrs of exp in SW eng'g or rel. exp. Skills req'd incl but not limited to exp w/: dsgn'g scalable, fault tolerant architecture for multiple critical real time data pipelines; building scalable microsrvcs using Java & Oracle; conducting assessments to identify best cloud solutions for implementing cost effective scalable & repeatable data & analytics solutions.
