Project Manager

As part of a department of 5 staff, the Modernization Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Modernization (Director) and takes direction from the Executive Director and the Assistant Executive Director. In support of 1866 units of affordable housing within 219 buildings at 28 sites, he/she acts as the owners primary representative managing Capital projects across their entire project lifecycle from Planning through Project Closeout and assists in preparing, developing, coordinating, and monitoring modernization programs for the Quincy Housing Authority (QHA) and its managed agencies. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure that all modernization activities are administered uniformly, efficiently and in accordance with applicable regulations, plans, specifications, Authority policy and approved budgets and schedules. Minimum of 2 years of college instruction and at least 2 years of direct experience in one or more of the following areas: Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Construction Administration; Facilities Management, government funded housing modernization and rehabilitation programs. Additional relevant work experience can be substituted for college requirement. Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License is desired or must be obtained within one year of employment.

Salary is $61,042.80 annually.
