Control Systems Engineer

Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN, seeks a Control Systems Engineer within the STS Integrated Control Systems group. The Control Systems Engineer will provide control systems engineering support including developing requirements, defining technical interfaces, designing control system implementation, and coordinating the integration of technical systems for the Second Target Station (STS) project.

The position requires a BS degree in electrical, computer, or systems engineering, or closely related field, plus five years of full-time, progressive experience in control systems engineering to include programmable logic controllers using ControlLogix; process controls, automation, and industrial instrumentation; and controls and requirements / documentation for a distributed control system. Also requires basic knowledge of C, C++, Java, or Python.
