Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO), a generation & transmission power cooperative in northwest Iowa, has an opening for a Control & Relay Technician. NIPCO is looking to fill this position with an electronic technician with a related AA degree from an accredited U.S. technical institute, with 2+ years of related experience preferred. This position requires skill & experience in electric utility apparatus equipment including 12.5/7.2 kV distribution & 69 kV transmission line equipment, station equipment including SEL protective relaying, high voltage circuit breakers, reclosers, transformers, regulators & control systems. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement & provides excellent company benefits. Pre-employment drug screening & physical will be required.
