System Operations Technician

Full time position responsible for the operation & control of various aspects of Holy Cross Energy’s (HCE) power system. Monitors status of HCE’s power system, keeps informed of operating conditions affecting the safe & reliable operation of the power system. Dispatches Operations’ personnel for maintenance or emergency repairs to the power system. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Two or more years system operations and/or field operations experience preferred. Valid CO Driver’s License. Proficiency in MS Office. Must be able to work nights, weekends, & holidays – rotating shift schedule to provide 24/7/365 monitoring of HCE electric distribution system. Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills. Starting hourly wage is $39-$50 depends on experience.
