Engineering Group Manager - Power & Signal Distribution Systems (PSDS), Warren, MI, General Motors. Lead, mentor & manage a team of 20 PSDS Design Release Engineers & Lead Engineers responsible for engineering deliverables & objectives, to develop & release conventional ICE, BEV & AV psgr vehicle wiring harnesses & battery cable assemblies. Provide technical leadership & guide team to successful execution of psgr vehicle program deliverables for wiring system parts to meet vehicle program deliverables across vehicle architectures based on vehicle content & functionality requirements specified in Product Program Content, & in accordance with Global Vehicle Development Process with adherence to U.S. & global safety, functional, crash, durability, N&V performance criteria, & serviceability & manufacturability requirements including ergonomics, part clearances, assembly process methods & cycle times. Define & ensure wiring system & component conformance according to Component Technical Specification (CTS), Subsystem Technical Specification (SSTS), Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS), Manufacturing Requirements, Post-Crash Electrical Integrity (PCEI) & certification compliance with regulations (Australia, U.S., Europe, Asia, Middle East &Latin America) defined by FMVSS, UN ECE, NCAP, & Latin NCAP crash, & durability standards. Bachelor, Electrical, Electronics, Communication & Electronic, Automotive Engineering, or related. 60 months experience as Engineer, defining or ensuring wiring system conformance according to CTS, SSTS, VTS, PCEI & certification compliance with regulations defined by FMVSS, UN ECE, NCAP, & Latin NCAP crash & durability standards, or related.
