Develop robust, real-time scene perception and motion planning algorithms to predict scenarios, assess risk, and combine object-tracking and vehicle control algorithms. Develop Road-model Estimation, Target Selection, and other scene perception algorithms. Optimize algorithms for real-time implementation. Implement software in MATLAB or C/C++. Perform data analysis to assess and correct performance deficiencies. Validate and assess algorithms using real and synthetic data. Support on-road testing and data collection efforts. Requires Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, or Electrical Engineering and coursework in Intelligent Systems, Compiling and Programming Systems, Image Processing and Computer Vision, Advanced Mobility and Cloud Computing, and Computer Graphics.
