Embedded Software Developer. Troy, MI. Design and develop automotive data acquisition and secure data exchange solutions for machine-to-machine applications. Develop software solutions from initial concept and requirements to production implementation and support. Perform software issue troubleshooting, problem solving, and root cause analysis. Work on Gtests for end-end integration and module functionality testing. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve performance. Requires Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, and at least three years of experience in embedded software development, including application development for embedded systems, reviewing code, communication protocols (CAN, J1939), writing test plans, root cause bug investigations, shell scripting, Gtests, Linux, C/C++, and Python.
