Operating Engineer

OPERATING ENGINEER

Control and monitor all the equipment throughout all of Brookdale’s buildings. HS grad, trade/technical school a plus. Active NJ Black Seal Boiler Operator license req’d; Blue Seal Refrigeration license prfd. 2 years directly related experience. Chiller operations & cooling tower experience a plus. Must be able to properly operate chillers, cooling tower & automated bldg controls software within 90 days of hire. Must work shift hours and overtime hours as required. Computer literacy skills at intermediate level with demonstrated ability to utilize
and apply Microsoft Office Suite as well as specialized software programs and computer applications. Ability to learn and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and regulations that are essential to the position. Valid Driver’s license req’d. Must work in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders, bend, stoop or kneel for extended periods. Must be available to work OT, evening or weekends as requested.

Annual salary is $43,655 with benefits
