Position Title: Exchange and SharePoint Administrator I or II

Position Purpose:
Exchange and SharePoint Administrator I - This position assists in the configuration, design, maintenance and support of on-premises Exchange and SharePoint environments; while also working on the orchestration, support and migration and administration of M365 PaaS, including but not limited to Azure AAD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Intune. The candidate is assigned to project teams with limited responsibility for these specific programs within the business unit. This position is familiar with project management techniques, and works with other more experienced administrators to meet project deadlines.
Exchange and SharePoint Administrator II - This position is responsible for the configuration, design, implementation, maintenance, support and enhancement of the Exchange and SharePoint environments, including but not limited to Azure AAD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Intune. This position is assigned to project teams with responsibility for these specific programs within the business unit. This position is familiar with project management techniques, may have project participation for small to medium sized projects, and works with other more experienced Administrators to meet project deadlines. This position is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position which may allow physical and/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber related assets or systems.
Qualifications:
Exchange and SharePoint Administrator I - To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have basic knowledge in the administration and configuration of systems, including but not limited to: Active Directory, Exchange, Outlook, PS (local, remote and AzureAD), SharePoint, and SPAM filtering. The incumbent must also have a basic knowledge of firewall and networking concepts. This knowledge is acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline and one year of related work experience in client-server application administration and implementation on enterprise wide systems; or a two-year degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline and three years of related work experience in client-server application administration and implementation on enterprise wide systems; or a high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED) and five years of related work experience in client-server application administration and implementation on enterprise wide systems. This position requires the ability to effectively research and resolve problems. The ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills is also required. The incumbent must have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint. This position is required to be on-call and travels up to 5% of the time by car or cooperative plane.

Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands: This position requires frequent sitting and standing/walking; and occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, use of keyboard/computer, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. It also requires the ability to develop plans, procedures and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines.
