- The EDIS Chief Systems Engineer conducts Systems Engineering based on sound engineering practices, proven SE tools, modelling capabilities and approaches.
- The Chief Engineer leverages an extensive professional background of proven success in systems engineering.
- The Chief Engineer manages system engineering to support integration, architecture, development, and sustainment activities to ensure effective configuration control of the technical baseline.
- The EDIS Chief Systems Engineer ensures MMSOC design and architecture fully support mission requirements, and are consistent with customer budget, schedule, risk profile and organizational/system constraints.
- The Chief Engineer leads analytic excursions working in collaboration with the Chief Architect, to forecast, issues and conduct activities to support revision, optimization and modification of the MMSOC baseline.
- The Chief Engineer provides support to future planning, CONOPS and technology insertion to anticipate and meet all emerging MMSOC requirements.


- Define and execute systems engineering processes and discipline across contract enterprise
- Lead a systems engineering team that is responsible for MMSOC providing sustained ADG mission capabilities.
- Develop and sustain the technical baseline for the MMSOC and its Mission Unique instantiations
- Provide systems engineering support to mission integration, including configuration management, scheduling, risk reporting, issue management and stakeholder integration.
- Maintain and execute a comprehensive risk program, including Cyber risks.
- Manage and maintain all requirements of systems integrating to the MMSOC.
- Responsible for test, verification and certification and accreditation planning for MUA/Apps for new space C2 missions into core virtualized MMSOC system.
- Identify, plan and support technology assessment and insertion activities.


- Required – Active TS/SCI


- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 18 professional years of experience
- Must have direct experience of leading systems engineering of complex integrated programs/systems.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years systems engineering work experience in technical field(s) related to design, development and delivery of DoD space systems, preferably within a space systems C2 SW area of expertise.
- 5-10 years’ experience with Space Systems C2 mission operations.
- Deep understanding of system engineering modelling and modeling languages desired.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with enterprise requirements applications and tools, such as Jira, IBM Rational DOORS, DOORS NextGen and others required.
- ASEP, CSEP or ESEP or other Systems Engineering certification(s) desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 20%.
